Working closely with the client and valued stakeholders, we took a clean and minimalistic approach to the design of the 2016-2017 annual report. Elements from the Council’s existing style guide were used as a launching pad for initial ideas and thoughtfully pared back to obtain the sleek and clean design that became the final product.
As part of the design of the annual report a series of icons were developed to illustrate various aspects of the council and to enhance the infographics that were present throughout the layout. A line art style of design was chosen to further emphasise and reinforce the clean and minimalistic design nature of the annual report.
