The Streetsmart Handbook began in 2002 as a practical life guide for 16 and 17 year old school leavers designed to help prepare today’s youth for life after school. The black and white, A5 sized handbook covered important topics from sexual health and the effects of drug and alcohol abuse to legal rights and applying for a loan. It offers information specific to the school leaver.
The June edition of the Streetsmart Handbook focusses on respect and staying safe. It covers topics including building respectful relationships with parents and peers, appreciating different ways of life, becoming an ally we all need and keeping safe online.
