The Streetsmart Handbook began in 2002 as a practical life guide for 16 and 17 year old school leavers designed to help prepare today’s youth for life after school. The black and white, A5 sized handbook covered important topics from sexual health and the effects of drug and alcohol abuse to legal rights and applying for a loan. It offers information specific to the school leaver.
The October edition of the Streetsmart Handbook focusses on life, play and other stuff. It covers topics including what to do once school is out, how to look after yourself and your friends in the social scene, ways to explore the world and getting your life sorted.
